Simple and pure.
Nature.
A kiss in the lap.
A hand on the chest.
Bodies curled into each other — spooned.
The same uncertainty, when dancing with a new woman.
Sex — a complicated rhythm,
a difficult dance.
Safety is essential.
Beauty ideals linger,
but lose their relevance in the realm of intimacy.
It is the soul — the personality —
that sparks desire.
The body ages,
but the mind does not follow.
An older outer shell,
a younger inner life.
